GeoLocs by mkodo has announced a new partnership with platform provider Bede Gaming to deliver its advanced geolocation technology to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
Through this partnership, GeoLocs will support OLG’s regulated online gaming operations in Ontario, ensuring players can access OLG products (OLG.ca, the OLG app and the PROLINE+ App) seamlessly while meeting strict jurisdictional and regulatory requirements.
The collaboration builds on a long-standing relationship between mkodo, OLG, and Bede, with mkodo having worked closely with both partners for over six years on the development and evolution of the OLG app. This next phase reflects a shared focus on compliance, technical reliability, and delivering trusted digital gaming experiences in one of North America’s most tightly regulated markets.
Commenting on the partnership, Will Whitehead, Commercial Director at mkodo, said, "We're proud to be supporting OLG through Bede and to be extending our long-standing relationships with two partners we know and trust. Ontario is a highly regulated market, and this partnership reflects the importance of geolocation technology that delivers compliance without compromising the player experience."
Andrew Humphreys, Chief Product Engineering Officer at Bede Gaming said, “This new launch is a wonderful milestone that we are pleased to celebrate together. We’ve been impressed with the innovative technical solution of the GeoLocs product, which provides us with confidence in managing live player traffic in accordance with local regulations.
